Please note that appropriate sport uniform incorporating our “Sun Smart” Policy is expected throughout the program, and that games from years Prep to 4 are modified to students’ ability with an emphasis on skill mastery.

Inter-School Sport Years 5-6: Yavneh competes in the VJSSA (Victorian Jewish School Sporting Association) competitions. Events include - Basketball, Table Tennis, Swimming, Australian Rules Football, Snow Sports, Netball, Soccer, T-Ball and Athletics played as round robin tournaments.

Athletics Program Prep-Year 6: All children participate in an Athletics Carnival that includes the following events – Prep and Year 1 novelty races, Years 2-3 fun relays and modified field events and Years 4-6 the long jump, sprints, high jump, hurdles, shotput, and track and field events

Swimming Prep – Year 6: Children is Years 4-6 participate in a swimming program in term 1 that concludes with a carnival that incorporates a variety of events, relays and races. Children in prep to Year 3 participate in an intensive swimming program in term 4.

House Sports: The College has a House system with House Captains and Vice Captains at Year 6 level. All children in Years 2-6 participate in House sports and are divided between the Houses (Efrat, Rosh, Tsurim, Magshimim and Ofra).
