College Hall

 

The school hall is often the hub of activity for many schools. It is a place of unity where the entire school is able to congregate for an assembly and other pivotal events. Without an adequate assembly hall, there is no forum for the school to congregate for an assembly.

 

This predicament is soon to change with the College proud to announce the launch of a major re-development building campaign. 

In conjuction with McIldowie Partners Architects, plans are now nearing completion for the development of a College Hall incorporating a Staff Centre, VCE Centre and the following facilites:

  • Modern audio visual equipment
  • Electronic, retractable auditorium style seating
  • Professionally equipped gymnasium
  • New Canteen with a modern kitchen and seated dining area
  • Landscaped courtyard
  • Large staff room
  • Conference room
  • Additional class rooms
  • VCE common room
  • Jewish Studies and Informal Education area
  • Administrative offices
  • Further storage space

The current Assembly Hall will then be transformed into a Senior Resource and Learning Centre incorporating the Jafa Klocman Secondary Library.  Equipt with modern computers and learning facilities, this centre will become a place where secondary students can consolidate their studies and gain access to state of the art resources to compliment their education.

Our Student Services team will find a new home in an area specifically designed to incorporate offices and act as a haven for students who may require assistance or counsel regarding their studies or any personal issues of concern.
