Full-time position

Leibler Yavneh College is looking for a passionate qualified Child Care Worker.  Reporting to the Head of Early Learning Centre, the prospective candidate will be suitably experienced with a knowledge of accreditation and a commitment to individual learning.

Key Responsibilites and duties

Programming

• Develop within a team approach innovative educational programs that cater for the emotional, social, intellectual, cultural and physical development of children attending the Centre, within the aims, vision statement and ethos of Leibler Yavneh College.
• Ensure programs cater for children’s individual needs and differences.
• Undertake and record observations of individual children and develop programs appropriate to their needs. Implement a roster system for “focus” children.
• Ensure the current program is displayed on the notice board for parents and changed fortnightly.
• Evaluate programs fortnightly.
• Seek parental input regarding children’s development and interests prior to their turn as “focus” children
• Ensure parents are given an opportunity to be involved in the evaluation of the program.
• Ensure criteria of the National Childcare Accreditation Council are met.
