Small School, Big VCE Results

Leibler Yavneh College is consistently ranked amongst the top five Independent Schools in the State and 2008 was no exception. In addition to the tangible impact the year made on the College as a whole, the impressive results are a testament not only to the callibre of the students but also the dedicated teaching staff who nurture our students as they journey through VCE.
Leibler Yavneh College Principal, Roy Steinman, Council Chairman and staff congratulate all Year 12 students on their outstanding results.
Mazal Tov to Jeremy Moskovitch, College Captain and dux of the College who achieved a fantastic score of 99.85.
The impressive statistics of the year's results are a testament to the quality of education provided at the school and the individual attention provided to each student:
- 13% achieved a score of 99 or above
- 20% gained a score of 98 or above
- 39% of the year group gained a score of 95 or above
- 51% of the year group gained a score of 90 or above
Four students achieved perfect scores in four separate subjects - Jeremy Moskovitch (Further Mathematics), Liana Kalkopf - College Captain (Legal Studies), Jason Feigen (Chemistry), Tal Ellinson (Maths Methods).
College Principal, Roy Steinman, on congratulating students and staff commented: "These statistics and achievements are noteworthy, not only for their excellence, but that they came from a leadership group that made a profound contribution to our College. It is extraordinary to think that they excelled not only in their VCE scores but in their contribution to Jewish Studies and the Jewish Life of our College in general. We thank them for their leadership."
