The YPO are here for a number of reasons:-
1. To raise funds for the College to provide resources that might otherwise not be purchased.
2. To provide additional activities for the children.
3. To represent issues of concern by the parent body to the School Council (the YPO has 4 members who sit on the School Council).

Anyone can be part of the YPO, with the only pre-requisite being that you have children attending the College. We have regular meetings which are open to all parents. At these meetings we discuss upcoming events, assist with any planning and discuss any issues with the College as relevant.

There are 4 ways to contact the YPO:

2. Drop a note or letter at the College reception at either the Elsternwick or Balaclava Rd campus
3. Call the College and leave a message
4. Look in the weekly Kesher for additional contact details, either for general or function specific events

Each month, there will appear in Kesher an article regarding YPO activities; what is on, how to be involved as well as details for specific events.

Over the past 2 years, the YPO has provided funds for many improvements within the school including the re-grassing at the front of the College, assisting with the building of the mezzanine floor in the Shule, the refurbishment of the primary library, as well as numerous other items.

The YPO has organised the Mothers and Fathers day stalls for the primary kids, BBQ stalls at Sports Day, the Yavnethon and other such activities.

Please refer to the list below for all upcoming functions and activities to be held by the YPO this coming year. We hope to see lots of people there, and please bring non-Yavneh parents along so they see and enjoy these activities and realise just how wonderful our College is.
