Dear Parents, Students and Community,

I’m delighted to inform you of our students’ outstanding VCE results for 2019. I congratulate each and every student, their parents and dedicated teachers on these excellent results.
Highlights

  • More than half of our cohort achieved an ATAR above 90.
  • More than 26% of students achieved an ATAR above 95.
  • More than 18% of students achieved an ATAR above 98.
  • Two of our students are to be commended for achieving an ATAR above 99.

Mazal Tov to the two Duxes of Leibler Yavneh College for 2019, Dale Goralsky and Benjamin Levin who both achieved an ATAR of 99.65. We also congratulate Emma Jaffa, Koby Paluch and Ariel Zelwer who all achieved a perfect score of 50 in English.

We are very proud of the academic performance of our VCE 2019 students.

As important as it is to strive for academic excellence, we derive as much pride from the fine character of our graduates. In 2019, more than a quarter of our Yr 12 students undertook additional Torah learning at Leibler Yavneh College. One of our students has already made Aliyah and in 2020, 74% of our graduates have opted to undertake programs in Israel, with 42% attending year-long programs at pre-eminent religious Zionist Midrashot and Yeshivot, reflecting the centrality of Medinat Yisrael, Torat Yisrael and Am Yisrael to the ethos of the College.

Yours sincerely,
Cherylyn Skewes
Principal
